Bajaj Finance, Piramal, other NBFCs looking to raise $2.5 billion

The three other NBFCs are Shriram Transport Finance, Hero Fin Corp and Mahindra Finance, the report said. Bajaj Finance, Piramal Capital Housing Finance, and three other non-banking finance companies are planning to raise $2.5 billion in their first ever dollar-bond sales as they look to diversify their financing base, The Economic Times reported.

The three other NBFCs are Shriram Transport Finance, Hero Fin Corp and Mahindra Finance, the report said citing three people familiar with the matter.

As per the report, these issues may hit the market within one or two months.

These bonds are likely to have maturities between three and five years with their onward loan profiles. Each of the companies is aiming to raise between $300 million and $500 million, said the report.
