The US could worsen Apple’s lagging business in China by extraditing the CFO of its biggest mainland rival from Canada

The economy in China may be shaky, but Apple could sustain longer-term brand damage from increasingly bitter disputes involving the U.S. government and two big iPhone rivals in the country: Huawei and ZTE. The U.S. could still extradite Huawei’s chief financial officer, who was arrested in Canada on Dec. 1 to the great dismay of Chinese leaders.
